This comprehensive, multi-phased facility modernization and expansion project encompasses a complete interior and exterior overhaul, beginning with the full demolition of all tenant spaces to make way for extensive new improvements, including the construction of new offices, a classroom, main and seasonal breakrooms, new and remodeled restrooms, new locker rooms, new AmCare, new HR, conference rooms, and a new SMX area, alongside upgrades to the trucker’s lounge/entrance. Critical warehouse improvements include the installation of 138 new column footings for a new pack mezzanine, a facility-wide new power distribution system for the new conveyor system and flat sorter, re-lamping of high bay lighting, a new fire alarm system, an upgrade to the radio repeater and LP vision system, and standardization of all dock equipment and door hardware; these infrastructure changes are supplemented by the addition of a life safety generator and a full sign package. The final phase involves significant exterior enhancements, including painting the entire building exterior, resealing and restriping parking lots, adding pickup and drop-off shelters at both entrances, and upgrading the main entrance, guardhouse, and monument sign, as well as installing a new smokers shelter.
