The Yard Access Overhaul (YAO) project represents a comprehensive modernization of site logistics and security infrastructure. Our team managed the full lifecycle of this upgrade, beginning with the strategic demolition of a legacy guard shack to clear the way for enhanced operational flow. In its place, we engineered and constructed an expansive, high-durability concrete island designed to serve as the foundation for both the new facility and advanced security technology. This project featured the installation of a larger, state-of-the-art prefabricated structure equipped with an integrated restroom to improve personnel site-experience. To further optimize yard efficiency, we successfully integrated Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs), creating a seamless, tech-forward entry point that balances high-volume traffic management with rigorous security standards.
